Lamu Island: A UNESCO World Heritage Site with well-preserved Swahili culture.

Lamu Island is a UNESCO Global Heritage Site that features an unparalleled glimpse into the rich historical Swahili people group. Moor off the coast of Kenya, it has an entire blend of history, traditions, and natural loveliness. With narrow, winding roads of Lamu Old Municipality, where centuries-old organizations stand a declaration to the island’s story tense. Marveling at complex bent wooden doors, coral rock organizations, and scampering bazaars that remain generally unaltered for divisions! Becoming part of a local way of life, where donkeys are the operative mode of transportation and dhows elegantly cruising the cerulean waters. Staying at the Lamu Fortress, the Swahili House Museum, and delighting in the tranquil beaches that offer an ideal escape from an innovative planet. Lamu Island is not just an intention; it’s a passage back in time, offering a scarce and palpable societal practice.
