Travel through South Africa and explore the famous scenic route in the Southern part of the country torn between gorgeous gardens and beautiful towns. Having been voted for, this route provides a perfect blend of towering forests, beautiful beaches, and huge cliffs. Take LaB’s drive to experience the beautiful towns of Knysna, Plettenberg, and Wilderness with their sights and friendly people. Itinerary

This 3-day itinerary offers a well-rounded experience of the Garden Route, blending stunning landscapes, wildlife encounters, and relaxation.

Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town and Transfer to Knysna

Arrive in Cape Town and set off for Knysna, a picturesque town on the Garden Route (approx. 5-6 hours drive). On the way, stop at Mossel Bay to enjoy the coastal scenery. Arrive in Knysna by late afternoon, check into your hotel or guesthouse, and explore the Knysna Waterfront. Have dinner at a local restaurant and spend the night in Knysna.

Day 2: Knysna and Tsitsikamma National Park

Begin your day with a visit to the Knysna Heads for breathtaking views of the lagoon and the Indian Ocean. Next, head to the Knysna Elephant Park for a close encounter with elephants. After lunch, drive to Tsitsikamma National Park (about 1.5 hours from Knysna) and immerse yourself in its stunning landscapes. Enjoy activities like hiking, exploring suspension bridges, and maybe even a canopy tour. Return to Knysna for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Plettenberg Bay and Departure

Check out from your accommodation and drive to Plettenberg Bay (approx. 30 minutes). Spend the morning at Robberg Nature Reserve, hiking its scenic trails and observing the rich wildlife. Afterward, visit Birds of Eden or Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary for unique wildlife experiences. Enjoy a leisurely lunch in Plettenberg Bay before starting your journey back to Cape Town (approx. 5.5 hours drive) or heading to George Airport for your departure.
