Naivasha is a gem in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya that offers great scenic views and enhanced wildlife. Take a boat ride in the otherwise quiet and serene Lake Naivasha; the place is also known as a habitat for many types of birds and large hippos. Trek or bike through Hell’s Gate National Park, featuring epic Grey cliffs, hot springs, and geothermal vigor. It provides a splendid culmination of natural beauty across Kenyan wildlife and wonders, whether one is a dedicated nature lover or a wildlife lover, or an admirer of the excellent sceneries.


This itinerary combines relaxation on Lake Naivasha with the adventure of exploring Hell’s Gate and Mount Longonot, providing a varied and memorable experience in the Naivasha region.

Day 1: Arrival and Lake Naivasha Exploration

Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to Naivasha, a scenic 2-hour drive. Check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos, a variety of bird species, and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Hell’s Gate National Park and Crescent Island

After breakfast, head to Hell’s Gate National Park for a day of adventure. Enjoy a guided hike or bike ride through the park’s dramatic landscapes, spotting wildlife like zebras, giraffes, and antelopes along the way. Visit the Ol Njorowa Gorge for a trek through its unique rock formations. In the afternoon, visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, where you can walk among freely roaming wildlife and enjoy panoramic views of the lake. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Mount Longonot and Departure

Start your day with an early breakfast and then head to Mount Longonot National Park. Embark on a hike up Mount Longonot, a dormant volcano offering spectacular views from the crater rim. After the hike, return to the lodge for lunch. Check out from the lodge and begin your transfer back to Nairobi or proceed to your next destination.
