Itinerary

This itinerary offers an immersive experience in the Serengeti, combining extensive wildlife viewing with cultural insights and optional unique activities like a balloon safari.

Day 1: Arrival and Afternoon Game Drive

Arrive in Arusha and transfer to Serengeti National Park, either by a scenic flight or a drive (approx. 6-7 hours by road). Check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive, where you can start spotting the park’s famous wildlife, including lions, elephants, and giraffes. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drives

Set out for an early morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the rest of the day exploring different regions of the park, such as the Seronera Valley, known for its high density of wildlife, or the Grumeti River area, a prime spot during the Great Migration. Enjoy a packed lunch in the bush to maximize your game viewing time. In the late afternoon, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti Plains and Cultural Visit

After an early breakfast, head out to the expansive Serengeti Plains to witness the vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. This area is especially remarkable during the migration season. In the afternoon, visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about the local culture and traditions. Return to your lodge for dinner and an evening at leisure, enjoying the serene African sunset and overnight stay.
