Tsavo National Parks: Known for their large elephant populations and diverse wildlife.

Measures about 20,820 Km ² in Kenya, Tsavo East, and Tsavo West are considered to be among the largest game reserves on the face of the earth. Itinerary

This itinerary offers an immersive experience in the Serengeti, combining extensive wildlife viewing with cultural insights and optional unique activities like a balloon safari.

Day 1: Arrival and Tsavo West Exploration

Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to Tsavo West National Park, approximately a 5-6 hour drive. Check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes, including volcanic hills, rivers, and savannas. Visit the Mzima Springs, where you can see hippos and crocodiles in crystal-clear water. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-Day in Tsavo West

Start your day with an early morning game drive, the best time to see predators and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then visit the Shetani Lava Flow and the Chaimu Crater, known for their dramatic geological formations. Enjoy lunch at the lodge, followed by a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary in the afternoon. Conclude the day with a leisurely game drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Tsavo East and Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, check out from your lodge in Tsavo West and transfer to Tsavo East National Park, a journey of about 2-3 hours. Check-in at your new lodge or camp and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to explore Tsavo East’s vast plains and the iconic Mudanda Rock and Aruba Dam, both excellent spots for wildlife viewing. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full-Day in Tsavo East

Begin the day with an early morning game drive to spot elephants, lions, and the unique red-dust-coated animals that Tsavo East is famous for. After breakfast, visit the Lugard Falls and the Yatta Plateau, the world’s longest lava flow. Enjoy lunch at the lodge, then head out for an afternoon game drive to see more of the park’s abundant wildlife and scenic landscapes. Return to the lodge for dinner and a final overnight stay.
