Itinerary

This itinerary offers a comprehensive exploration of Nyungwe Forest National Park, blending adventure, wildlife encounters, and relaxation.

Day 1: Arrival and Canopy Walk

Arrive in Kigali and transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park, a picturesque drive of approximately 5-6 hours through Rwanda’s stunning countryside. Check in at your lodge or hotel. After lunch, experience the thrilling Canopy Walk, which offers breathtaking views of the forest and an opportunity to spot birds and primates from above. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Waterfall Hike

Start your day early with a hearty breakfast before heading out for an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure. Depending on your departure schedule, you may have some free time to relax or take a short walk around the lodge grounds.
