Arrival and Introduction

Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to Lake Baringo, a journey of approximately 5-6 hours by road, or opt for a shorter flight to the nearby airstrip. Check in at your lakeside lodge or camp and enjoy a welcoming lunch. In the afternoon, take a leisurely boat ride on Lake Baringo, where you can observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species, including fish eagles and herons. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Bird Watching and Cultural Visit

Start your day early with a guided bird-watching walk. Lake Baringo is a renowned birding destination, home to over 450 species. After breakfast, visit the nearby Ruko Conservancy to see the endangered Rothschild giraffes and other wildlife. In the afternoon, explore the local culture with a visit to a nearby village.
