Day 1: Arrival and River Safari

Arrive in Maun, Botswana, and transfer to Moremi Game Reserve, a drive that takes approximately 2-3 hours. Check-in at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy a welcoming lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive through the diverse landscapes of Moremi, where you can encounter elephants, lions, leopards, and a variety of antelope species. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari Adventure

Start the day with an early morning game drive to witness the wildlife in their natural habitat at the peak of their activity. After a hearty breakfast back at the lodge, explore the Xakanaxa or Khwai regions known for their abundant wildlife and birdlife. Enjoy a packed lunch in a picturesque spot within the reserve. Continue your exploration in the afternoon, focusing on different habitats such as lagoons, floodplains, and mopane woodlands. Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxed evening around the campfire, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 3: Mokoro Excursion and Cultural Experience

Begin with an early breakfast before embarking on a traditional mokoro (dugout canoe) excursion. Glide silently through the waterways, getting a unique perspective on the flora and fauna, including hippos and crocodiles. After lunch back at the lodge, visit a local village to learn about the culture and traditions of the Botswana people. Return for an afternoon game drive or a relaxing evening at the lodge. Enjoy a farewell dinner and your final night under the African sky.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Departure

Take advantage of one last early morning game drive, capturing the beauty of the reserve at dawn. Return for breakfast and check out from the lodge. Transfer back to Maun for your onward journey, reflecting on an unforgettable safari experience in Moremi Game Reserve.
